Marketing Co-ordinator
The Bowers Metrology Group, leading supplier of precision measuring equipment, is looking to recruit a Marketing Co-ordinator to work from its office in Bradford. The role will involve on-line marketing, event organisation, direct marketing, campaign co-ordination as well as supporting the sales team in order to grow the business.
The Candidate
Applicants should be articulate, organised, creative and qualified to degree level or equivalent in a Marketing-related subject. The right candidate will have experience of working in a marketing role with a good understanding of desktop publishing (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), excellent IT literacy and knowledge of the standard Microsoft Office suite. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate an ability to work to tight deadlines, but maintain an excellent eye for detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
• Support the implementation of marketing plans and general marketing activities
• Assist in the organisation of UK events
• Maintain the Group’s websites, ensuring content is up-to-date and accurate
• Co-ordinate E-marketing campaigns
• Assist in the production of brochures, catalogues, newsletters etc
• Coordinate the delivery of direct mail campaigns
• Liaise with external agencies including design, web, event, press and media
• Maintain contact database
• Sales lead analysis
• Manage supplier invoicing procedures
• Copywriting and proof-reading of marketing materials as required
• Support sales campaigns alongside Sales Manager
Experience
• Co-ordination and monitoring of marketing campaigns
• Liaising with marketing suppliers
• Website maintenance: experience of using a content management system would be particularly useful
• On-line marketing implementation and monitoring
• Computer literacy, particularly using Microsoft Office, along with a good understanding of desktop publishing
• Creativity and concept implementation
• Copy writing
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
